Season announcement

Hello all,

I am delighted to announce that, after a very competitive play choosing meeting last week, we now have a fabulous season lined up taking us well into 2015.
Our October 2014 show will be Arthur Miller's classic family drama, "A View From The Bridge". We welcome new director, Gareth Pert, who will be ably assisted and supported by our regular members.
This will be followed in February 2015 by "Emma". This is a return to Jane Austen country following our 2007 production of "Pride and Prejudice" and marks a welcome return to directing for Alan Wade.
Our summer 2015 blockbuster will be adapted and directed by Alison Munro, who has also been away from the stage for far too long. We will be bringing you “The Three Musketeers” which I'm sure will delight swashbucklers on stage and off.
All of this of course follows this year’s summer show, "The Man of Mode"; rehearsals start next week and we look forward to your support.

Auditions for George Etheridge's "The Man Of Mode"

Auditions for our June 2014 production of George Etheridge's "The Man Of Mode" will take place at 8pm on Tuesday 25th and Thursday 27th February.

Our auditions operate as follows:

• All are welcome
• No preparation is necessary
• The rehearsal rooms are up the Shearwood Rd side of the Drama Studio past the stage door
• There is a coded lock on the door, if no-one is about to let you in please knock

The production will run Wednesday 5th – Saturday 8th February 2014 in the Drama Studio Glossop Road doors open at 7pm for a prompt 7.30pm start.
Full price: £8 Concessions: £5
Concessions are available to full time students and those over 65 years old. Discounts are available for party bookings and school parties when booked in advance, please ask when booking.

AGM 10th December

The Company's Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 10th December. The venue will upstairs at The University Arms 6:30-7:30pm. The meeting is open to all and is a good way to find out more about how we work, what's going on and how you can get more involved. We'll also be electing our management team for next year. Please come and join us. One of the items on the agenda will be the draft for a new constitution, you can read a copy here.

STOP PRESS change to Julius Caesar Auditions

Due to illness the auditions for Julius Caesar will now be Thursday 7th and Tuesday 12th of November I am very sorry about this but it has been unavoidable. Please spread the word as far as you can so that hopefully everyone who was planning to come will find out.

Julius Caesar Auditions
