Hello, I am new to theatre groups in Sheffield. Could you tell me how often you will be rehearsing this play each week? And for how many weeks prior to the performance? Thank you! Keegan Greenwood

    1. We rehearse on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on Sunday mornings. You don't necessarily have to come to every rehearsal, just the ones for those scenes your character's in. Rehearsals start w/c 11th November for a performance at the beginning of February.

    1. They are open auditions, so a small group will be given short scene to perform in front of anyone else - you get a little time to practice. We generally do this three times, swapping people into different character roles. We're not expecting acting perfection, we just want to see what you can do. It's not very pressured, you just need the courage to stand up in front of everyone else. I know it's daunting walking into a room with people you don't know, but we're very friendly. I hope to see you next week.

  4. Hi there, many thanks for all your correspondence from the Company so far as I too am interested in getting back into theater after a while away. I was sorry to miss HP Lovecraft as I love his work and I am gutted that I will be away for the Julius Ceaser play as its my favorite Shakespeare. However I would love to audition for The Comedy of Errors, another favorite. Thanks again for the opportunity to be part of the company and I hope to meet you all soon. Kind regards, Simon

I will be coming to the audition on the 12th but have a work meeting that I cannot avoid so will not be able to get to the drama studio until about 8:00. So hopefully I will be able to get in if I don't have the door code.

    Kind regards
